Born and raised in beautiful Bonners Ferry, I have come to appreciate all that this small town has to offer. From a young age, my dad instilled the love of the mountains and the outdoors within me. From logging camp in the Selkirks during the summers to snowmobiling in the winters, I grew up with an extreme love of the outdoors in Boundary County. As a child I constantly fished, picked huckleberries, swam and explored the mountains with my family. As I grew older, my dad taught me how to run logging equipment and drive truck. I learned to fly at the age of 19 and received my pilot's license, adding to my enjoyment of the beauty in the area.I married Phil Schneider in 1983. We made our home in Bonners Ferry and had four wonderful children Travis, Tom, Tana, and Trevor. As a stay-at-home mom, I helped the family business run smoothly which included logging, land development, building a log home, truck driving and teaching piano lessons. Our family thrives on hunting, fishing, flying, working, and always recreating in the remarkable outdoors of North Idaho. Our favorite family vacation was fishing in Seward, Alaska while our oldest son was working there. Our daughter now lives in Alaska and many trips and adventures take place there for our family.
