Darrena and the Home Sweet Home team were absolutely amazing during our home selling process! Darrena set up several meetings ahead of the listing to review our strategy related to staging, pricing, market conditions, etc. She mapped out our timeline and worked backwards to prepare for the listing. She provided such wonderful items to stage our home and put us in a competitive position to differentiate ourselves from what is otherwise a fairly-competitive neighborhood full of new construction houses and several others resellers entering the market. We were thrilled to receive 3 offers in our opening weekend, and Darrena helped us consider all of the offer details and how to interpret the value. On a personal level, she is wonderful and we consider her a great friend through this experience. On a professional level, she is absolutely unmatched with her diligence, patience, calmness, planning, marketing and motivation to sell. We couldn't have done any of this without Darrena, and we already miss her now that we have signed all of our closing documents. Having bought and sold many homes, Darrena is by far the best real estate agent I have had the pleasure of dealing with. From the first time she came to visit the home, she had a detailed plan and executed flawlessly against that plan. As a result, we had over 45 showings the first two days on the market and had 7 offers in hand. The home sold in 3 days for significantly higher than asking price. She was absolutely outstanding and would highly recommend her to anyone wishing to sell their home with a true professional.

She is a professional, knowledgeable, and hard worker who is always available at any time for her clients needs. This lady knows her business! Our last experience, we dealt with high maintenance buyers and an inexperienced, unethical realtor who made things difficult at every turn. I have a ton of respect for Darrena for her relentless advocacy for my interests during my home buying process. As a first time home buyer I actually went under contract twice - the first time was for new construction which suffered a ton of delays. I worked with Darrena for a year as she helped manage a difficult relationship with the builder. I credit her tirelessness in her advocacy for helping me eventually terminate that contract and find something more suitable in the resale market. Even though we had to start all over after terminating the first contract, Darrena was still committed to helping me find something in my budget. When we ran into some issues with the HOA I saw Darrena work every angle she could to help resolve my issues before closing. My homebuying journey was less than smooth, but throughout I saw Darrena roll with the punches and help me in every way she could. Even when there was bad news to be delivered, I respected her straightforwardness in letting me know all of my options, even if I didn’t necessarily like them. I would highly recommend Darrena for her ability to facilitate a smooth closing, but also because I know she is someone I could trust when the process got hard. Thankfully this story has a happy ending as I did eventually close, the second time around.

Finding the right house in this incredibly tough market is quite a challenge, but Darrena is up to the task. She is high energy, hard working, and extremely communicative. Darrena and her entire team were fantastic and made the home buying experience wonderful! My wife and I were first-time home buyers, and Darrena was patient with us as we worked through what we wanted and where we wanted to buy. She explained the market (which is crazy) and helped us to determine what we could and couldn't afford. Once we settled on a house (new build), she was quick to get our offer in and work with the builder to get us under contract. She would check in with us regularly throughout the building process, and was always there for an update meeting or inspection. When we got near the end, Darrena was very helpful with checking for any final issues with the home. Closing went very well and a lot of it was due to her help and guidance. I bought during this crazy 2021 market and knew it would be tough, but much thanks to Darrena’s hustle, my first offer was accepted and she pulled it off for a 21 day closing, with it appraising at the exact dollar amount that she estimated. I’m a first time home buyer and so I appreciated that Darrena took the time to explain the different parts of the process and what my offer meant in terms of waivers and responsibilities so that I had a full understanding of what kind of risk I was putting on the table.
