About Dave

David relocated from the Boston area to Teton Valley, Idaho in October of 91 as a newlywed. He and his wife Amy were looking for a quiet place to raise a family. Their interests in skiing, horseback riding, fishing, camping, and outdoor recreation drew them to the Driggs area. They have two young sons, Eli and Sam, born and raised in Teton Valley. Whenever Amy mentions they never took a honeymoon, Dave is quick to point out they are still on it. A graduate of UMass, Amherst, he has been in the construction industry since 1984. He is the owner of Dery Statement Homes, founded in 1994, one of the premier “quality based” general contractors in the valley. David has built over 30 custom homes in Teton Valley, mostly for out-of-valley second home owners, and has an extensive list of satisfied customers. His unique outlook toward property, construction and history of hard working, can-do spirit, make him an asset to any project or transaction.
