David Knight and his wife moved to Vashon many years ago to live on this island they had heard was magical, secret and unspoiled. They soon learned it was that and much much more. A strong sense of community, the natural beauty of the island, a uniqueness that can only be understood by being here, and passion for preserving and protecting the island were unmistakable.

David is very involved in the community and has served both on the Board of Directors for the Vashon Maury Cooperative Preschool and the Vashon Food Bank. His two children attended our excellent Vashon schools and are now successful college students at the University of Washington and the University of Oregon.

David has a passion for real estate and enjoys helping people navigate the unique “quirks” of the Vashon housing and land market – both from the buyer and seller perspective. His strengths include constant communication, attention to the details and meticulous follow-through – all imperative in the often complicated process of property transactions. With several years experience in residential, land and rural property concerns, he can help you smoothly negotiate through the buying or selling process.
