About Dave

Born and raised in a rural area in the Pacific Northwest state of Oregon, Dave spent his first career in retail management, working with greats like Nordstrom, May Dept. Stores, Dillards, and Macy's. In the mid-1990s, he pursued a profession he had always admired, becoming a professional Realtor. He earned his license, became a realtor, and began practicing real estate in Tampa Bay.

Initially, Dave trained as an exclusive buyer's agent. Dave went on to work with other great companies such as Coldwell Banker & Re/Max, learning successful principles, techniques, and strategies for marketing and selling real property. In 2002 Dave was invited to work with Florida Executive Realty which he mentions turned out to be one of the best decisions he has ever made. A company he feels resembles a company he once worked for, Nordstrom, where the customer is always right amongst many other great company attributes. In 2005 Dave was invited to become a shareholder in the Carrollwood office, and he accepted and invested in a company he believed in, Florida Executive Realty. He also is a partner with Brokers Title of Tampa Bay, a premier title company in Tampa Bay.

Dave endeavors to keep the Golden Rule at the root of all he does. He is committed to honesty, knowledge of the current markets, professionalism, and continued education. Dave has completed many facets of additional education, including CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), and CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert). He has completed USAA certification to assist US military families and Military On The Moves rebate programs.

Dave's utmost goal with every client his team serves is to arm each client with as much information as possible so they can make the most informed decisions possible. Secondly, being an expert at the transaction process involves daily study and ensures that his client's best interests are well served and cared for.

Other than real estate, Dave loves the adventures of aviation through private piloting, traveling with his wife of 33 years, golfing, gardening, and the piano. He gives back to his community by helping less fortunate seniors and families. Also, Dave contributes to Disabled American Veterans and offers the Military On The Move rebate program to those serving our country.
