Dave Sleeper

Realty of Maine's owner Dave Sleeper began selling real estate in Bangor, Maine in 1979. Dave's life experiences, especially while a nuclear test manager at Groton, CT based Electric Boat, readied him for the day-to-day issues he would face in the real estate field. In 1986, Dave and a partner formed a real estate company that would eventually evolve into Realty of Maine.

A 1958 University of Maine graduate, Dave was honored by the Engineering Department in May 2009 by being inducted into the Francis Crowe Society as a Distinguished Engineer in Mechanical Engineering. While at Maine, Dave met his wife Anne who was studying education. Dave and Anne celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June 2008 and have three children and 10 grandchildren.
