Pacific Union International, Inc. Vice President, Silicon Valley David Barca oversees Pacific Union’s entry into this premier real estate market area. Barca has served the real estate industry for more than 20 years.

Prior to joining the company, Barca was a broker associate with Alain Pinel Realtors in Menlo Park. Before that, he served as general manager for Keller Williams Realty in Palo Alto, which included offices in Cupertino and San Mateo. Barca joined Keller Williams in January 2006, and the same year, all three of Barca’s Keller Williams offices achieved “Black Belt Recruiting” recognition for netting at least 60 recruits during the year. The same year, Barca’s Palo Alto market center ranked No. 1 nationally of 165 newly launched market centers for gross commission income and profitability.

Before his tenure with Keller Williams Realty, Barca was national broker of record with ZipRealty, Inc., where he was a senior broker, vice president of real estate services, and Northern California regional vice president. Once the company became publicly traded in 2004, Barca was responsible for delivering quarterly revenue based on estimates by Wall Street analysts, and he delivered consecutive quarters above expectations during the remainder of his time with the company.

Barca got his start in real estate with Fox & Carskadon/Better Homes and Gardens in 1990 in Menlo Park as a sales associate, and he was an office manager with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Palo Alto before becoming branch manager at Century 21 Seville Contempo in Menlo Park.

Barca has served for many years as a director for the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, and MLS Listings, Inc. He served as director of the National Association of Realtors for several years between 1999 and 2014. Barca was honored in 2001 by the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors with the Community Service Award for his work as founder and chairperson of the Realtor Service Volunteer Program, and in 2009 as Realtor of the Year. He was also recognized by Coldwell Banker as one of three recipients of the company’s National Service Excellence Award.
