About David
David is a full-service salesperson with a broad professional knowledge of the real estate market from condominium, co-op, and townhouse sales to rental and multi-family properties. His diligence is the essential element in his success and his keen sense of responsibility to his clients is evident whether guiding them through the requirements of condominium and co-op boards or representing his clients’ interests through the sometimes-daunting process of a townhouse sale.
Through the years, David has developed a specialization in townhouse sales. A student of historic preservation, he began his career with a focus on homes in need of preservation and renovation and that required the patience and thoughtful care necessary to prepare them for sale at their highest potential. David has made a career of collaborating with clients to enhance their properties. By assessing the strengths and needs of each property and assembling the right team of painters, stagers, and contractors needed to add the final changes, David can market and show a property to its best advantage and highest value.
Preparing a property for sale is just one part of the process and David is proud to offer his clients the extensive and sophisticated marketing power of Brown Harris Stevens Brooklyn. Nothing is spared in the carefully designed presentation materials for each property from professional floorplans and photography to print and digital advertising across the broadest range of media. David’s most asset is a constant and growing clientele of both buyers and sellers, which affords him the opportunity for matching clients with the properties that fit their needs.
A former appraiser of art and antiques, David turned his attention to real estate; a profession that allows him to combine his passion for art and design with his fascination for historic and contemporary architecture. David’s interest in architecture began as a student at Loyola University in New Orleans where he graduated with a degree in Communications. David is also a graduate of the Christie’s Education, Fine and Decorative Arts Course, London.
A native New Yorker, David lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn. His spare time is devoted to volunteer efforts at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and the restoration of his family’s 19th century farmhouse in the Hudson Valley.
