David Duffie

David provides his clients with a wealth of business experience, strategic alternatives for achieving goals, and a comprehensive knowledge of the Incline Village real estate market. He is genuinely passionate about all Tahoe has to offer and conveys that passion to his clients. He also understands that each client's needs are unique and provides skillful guidance, creative solutions and personalized service to fulfill those needs. Both buyers and sellers benefit from his resourcefulness, his planning, marketing, negotiating and financial skills, and his technological expertise. Whether a luxury lake home, historic legacy property, rustic cabin in the woods, or convenient condominium, David understands how to best meet his clients' objectives. His concern for his clients is genuine, so it is no surprise he has developed friendships with many of them over the years.
David was raised in New Jersey, where his mother owned a real estate brokerage for over 25 years. After completing his Electrical Engineering BS from Virginia Tech in 1984, he became an early pioneer in the fiber optic industry. As an entrepreneur in San Diego, he created several telecom-related start-up companies and was awarded two patents. He also became involved in underwater hockey and sand sculpting, working on many large sculpting projects throughout the US and Europe. David enjoyed world travels and decided to make Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, Nevada, his home in 2000. David quickly embraced the natural beauty of this Sierra playground, appreciating the numerous Tahoe lifestyle activities including backpacking, mountain biking, kayaking, and skiing/snowboarding. He also enjoys artistic pursuits playing bass in a jazz/funk/rock band, snow/sand sculpting, and photography. David helped create, design, and raise funds for the public Disc Golf Course in Incline Village in 2011. He is also a Board of Director for the non-profit, HelpSaveTheBeesFoundation.org, and collaborates with local entrepreneurs on renewable energy and food sustainability projects. His goal has been helping clients and new friends negotiate the Tahoe real estate market since 2002 and he can help make anyone’s 'Tahoe dream home' a reality as well.
