How I started as a Real Estate Agent
I have been involved in residential construction, home remodeling and home repair for over 4 decades. I acquired my real estate agent and broker license in 2007. Combining these skill sets provides a scope of knowledge most brokers don’t possess. I feel strongly that my clients benefit immensely in their quest to reach their real estate goals as a result of this combine experience. That benefit is seen whether selling a home, land or other real estate, or in the goal of home ownership.
My introduction to the building trade was right out of high school working for my father (A family owned business) painting waterfront and other exclusive homes, both new-builds and existing construction. After providing clients and customers with home remodeling and repair services, I joined my wife in a small family brokerage where she and I were owner/brokers.
Life Lessons Before Real Estate School
My father taught me to be hardworking, honest and to treat people fairly. There is no educational or work experience that can substitute for being kind and helpful to people. I provide that same work ethic for all my clients. One that my father expected of me and would I’m sure, be proud to see. While he has been gone for many years now, I still reflect on those work-life values he taught me. I feel these life lessons, along with my combine work experiences allows me to assist customers and clients with honesty and integrity in the most important financial decision they will make.
