David’s real estate practice is one of Washington’s fastest-growing for a reason: trained as a lawyer and raised in a local real estate family, David’s sophisticated and client-centered approach has earned him the trust of attorneys, tech executives, and Senators alike.
A native Washingtonian, David's inspiration for success came from his parents, who owned a large portfolio of residential and commercial properties. From a young age, David worked alongside real estate agents to identify, negotiate and close the purchase and sale of property for their portfolio.
David earned an MBA from Duke and a JD from George Washington University and practiced as a transactional attorney for a global law firm, where he represented corporate clients in connection with billion-dollar transactions. The sophistication in client service and excellence in work product cultivated by way of advising large corporations on critical, time-sensitive legal matters has been indispensable to his success in Washington’s luxury residential market. David has sold nearly $100 million of real estate over his career, earning national recognition from Tom Ferry and RealTrends as one of America's Best Real Estate Professionals, as well as local recognition from each of the Washingtonian and DC Modern Luxury magazines as an industry leader.
While David is not advising clients and listing property, David enjoys exercise and tennis. He is a tennis enthusiast who competed in the Mid-Atlantic Tennis Association as a youth, ranking #3 in Maryland and #5 in MATA. David is avidly engaged in the community, including at the National Child Research Center (at which he serves as a Trustee), Maret, the DC Bar, and the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors.
