Homes.com Review

David North provided 5 star service to us in locating and closing on a new home distant from our current home. He highlighted pros and cons for many homes we considered and looked at. When we closed he managed to move a VA closing forward by 2 weeks to accomodate some tax/legal issues we had. I give him an reserved recommendation as a home buyer.

We had a particularly good experience working with David. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the real estate market in the Seattle and Eastside areas that we looked into, he was very sensitive to the specific needs and requirements of our family. We appreciated the fact that David was forthcoming with advice that helped us make decisions on properties that attracted our eye but did not quite meet his standards of quality and value. When we did decide on a property, David was very responsive (within 24 hours and many times, less than that) when it came to ensuring we had our bid and paperwork completed accurately and on time. His help was invaluable in educating us on the finer points of making bids at the right price point and was willing to partner with us on an auction property that required an expert eye on the potential pitfalls of contracts that might not have gone our way. In the end, we got the house of our dreams with David's help and we have no reservation whatsoever in recommending him to anyone that will need an honest expert to help them in the current real estate market. -gemnet

David is very good in his chosen field. From our initial meeting until the very end of our transaction, he was straight forward, responsive, and honest. When we agreed to sell our house through him, he laid down his plans on what he will do. Further, he is very responsive on whatever inquiry we had. When asked about his opinions, he gave them without being pushy and biased. it was a smooth transaction. While our house was still in the market, we also were looking for house to buy. We made offer to several houses, and it was a roller coaster ride. David was there always giving positive messages. Further, when looking at house, he was not a typical agent who is pushy, and manipulative. he was just quiet and he was looking at stuff that buyer will not usually focus on, e.g, furnace, water heater, roof, sidings. He allows us to look at the house without influencing our impression of the house. He also raised things that we never noticed. When asked about his opinion of the house, he gave both positive and negative things about the house. In addition, when dealing with difficult seller, he remained on top of the situation. We were so frustrated with the seller's slow response on things, but David was able to manage our emotions, and encouraged us to keep our focus. Lastly and most importantly, we observed that with the way he works with us, we can really feel and sense that it he has concern to us his clients, more than the commission he will be getting from the transaction. We enjoyed this journey of selling and buying a house with him. He is highly recommended!
