Hi, I’m David Ogden. I’ve had the chance to live all over the world—born in London, raised across Asia and the Pacific, and eventually settling in Australia before making Delaware home. That international journey helped me appreciate people from all walks of life, and it’s something I carry with me in real estate every day.
Before real estate, I spent 35 years in the Royal Australian Artillery, retiring as a Warrant Officer after a career that included a tour in Iraq. When I moved to the U.S., I wanted a new way to serve—and real estate was the perfect fit.
These days, I work with buyers and sellers across Sussex and Kent Counties, helping people with everything from their first home to luxury and vacation properties. I take pride in listening closely, being honest, and keeping things simple and clear—whether you’re buying a mobile home or a million-dollar estate.
What pushed me into real estate was actually my own first home-buying experience back in Australia. The agent barely said a word, and I remember thinking, “I can do better than this.” That moment stuck with me. Now, my focus is on clear communication and making sure my clients always feel supported.
Outside of work, I’m big on photography, gardening, and spending time with my wife, Diane, our five adult kids, and six amazing grandkids.
Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm approach, maturity, and the way I really take time to understand what matters to them. That means a lot to me—because in the end, it’s not just about closing deals. It’s about building trust, earning friendships, and helping people feel truly at home.
