I decided to relocate after retirement. I wasn't sure where to go but during my research I fell in love with Pittsburgh, having never been here before. The thought of moving several states away, in the middle of winter and during a pandemic, to a city I had not yet even visited was initially daunting but David Onufer's confident, warm professionalism, encouragement and effectiveness was so assuring that after connecting with him realizing my dream of moving to Pittsburgh suddenly seemed possible and actually became fun. David worked with me before I came to visit. Being a lifelong Pittsburgher, he capable answered my many, many questions. When I came in person to look at houses he pleasantly, patiently and enthusiastically showed me all over the city. When we found the perfect one, David successfully negotiated all of the details. David attended to every detail and the purchase went smoothly. I am now in a city I love, neighborhood I love, in a home that's absolutely perfect for me . I am forever grateful to David and highly recommend him.

We met Kitty Onufer based on one of our friends recommendation. It was the first agent we talked, and I am glad we selected her as our agent.
We had started our search in 2019, then Covid came and we slowed down, but Kitty continue to search for us. We closed our home in October 2021, Kitty continued to support with our issues even after closing. Lastly she got me a return after home warranty company and plumber charged us high fee for "special labor". I definitely recommend Team Onufer.

Kitty and David did an excellent job in helping us sell our house. Their professionalism, patience, accuracy and expert advice guided us through the process flawlessly. If we had any questions both were always available at any time, day or night, to answer them for us. David Onufer is an exceptional agent. I have bought and sold properties in several states. David is one of a few agents who comes thoroughly prepared to the first meeting and stays engaged throughout the process. He is not only knowledgable about the current market, he is realistic and offers extraordinary customer service. David went above and beyond helping me to sell the house, as well as to coordinate repairs and disposing of furnishings, which often required him to be at the property when I could not be. We relocated to Pittsburgh from the South in the midst of the pandemic and while dealing with a serious personal health situation. We contracted with the Onufer team to help us find our new home based on an enthusiastic recommendation from a friend. Buying a home is always challenging, and this one was especially fraught for us.

Because of Kitty and David’s professionalism, deep market knowledge and caring personal service, in no time we found a home we love in exactly the location we were looking for with a minimum of stress.

Throughout our home search it was clear they cared more that we found a house we were happy with than that they made a quick sale. Frankly, we hadn’t experienced that with RE agents before.

When we decided to make the offer on our house, Kitty worked through the night to be sure we got our offer in early, and specific advice she gave us allowed us to avoid a bidding war in a lightening fast market. We learned later that there were 20 appointments set up to show the house at the time the seller accepted our offer.

I was fortunate to hire David Onufer as my realtor. He was a fine professional, calm and positive, and helped me sell my house through the complicated COVID era. I am now living in Minnesota and had to reach out to David for much more help than I think is typical. He was always available and always provided the information I needed in clear and thoughtful ways. He remembered that for a realtor selling a house is routine, but for a seller it is full of anxiety.
