David R. Valva

David Valva is a third-generation realtor who was taught from a young age how to treat people and clients, in general, putting their interests to the forefront in any transaction.

Although born into the business, David has built his own sterling reputation. An extremely active agent in the Bay Area for more than forty years, he is known as Mr. Oakland for good reason. He knows every path, lane, street, boulevard, and block of the city.

Knowledgeable and friendly, David takes the meaning of a “full-service” to a new level. Long after he represents a client, he stays in touch, providing them with an invaluable source for information. His extensive list of resources includes everything from outstanding contractors, maintenance crews and property managers to top-rated schools and restaurants.

David has served on the Oakland Association of Realtors’ board and is active in the community. For years, he sat on the Adopt a Special Kid (AASK) board as well as the Piedmont Boy Scout Council. Dedicated to his hometown, David has been an active supporter of Rebuild Oakland Together and Western Federation of Service Workers.
