David Rosen

David A. Rosen is a principal stockholder in LandVest, Inc. and a Senior Advisor in the firm. He most recently served as Board Chairman and President of LandVest and directed the Real Estate Consulting Group from 1990 until early 2019.

Mr. Rosen joined LandVest in 1986 and has overseen the expansion of LandVest's consulting business to a national and international practice. He is active as a real estate advisor and in developing consulting and marketing projects for clients and LandVest. He specializes in dealing with complex land-based properties, including land conservation transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rosen worked for the Central Park Conservancy and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. He has been a consultant for Boston's Neighborhood Housing Services, Neighborhood Reinvestment, the National Park Service, and The Nature Conservancy. He co-authored a book on 19th-century building technology and several articles on historic landscape restoration and land conservation planning. Mr. Rosen is also a member of the Gloucester, MA Planning Board, and serves as an executor and trustee for private individuals.
