Dawn began her career in real estate by becoming an owner of investment property while working in another field. She wanted to be involved in the management of her property, too, which rapidly led her to an understanding of some of the complexities involved in being an investor and a landlord. Owning real estate opened an entire world of choices, decisions, and exciting projects! She found that she spent increasing amounts of time talking to people about their own homes and plans.
As a result of these early experiences, Dawn acquired her license as a Realtor in 2002, and began working as an agent. She found that she loved the field! Working as a Realtor allowed her to help others to dive into owning their own homes, and she could provide them with the support and information that she lacked as a buyer early in her career.
Dawn achieved her Real Estate Broker license in 2009, through the required years of transactions and additional coursework and examination. This level of licensure is held by only 10% of agents in Pennsylvania. She has also attained other designations and training, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Accredited Buyer’s Representative. Her training and experience have strengthened her belief that buyers and sellers each have unique needs and will benefit from being represented by a professional with experience working only for their interests. In 2017, Dawn took the exciting step of becoming the owner of RE/MAX 360, a brokerage located in Ross Township. This step will allow her to support professional agents who are passionate about our industry and about serving clients’ needs.
Dawn’s overarching goal has always been to develop and offer very solid skills in negotiating deals for her clients- from the first call to the closing table- and she enjoys serving as a guide for every step of the process. She most enjoys seeing clients who are happy with the outcome, content with the decisions that they have made, and sure that they got the best deal possible.
On a personal note, Dawn has been married for twenty years and her husband and she have two school-aged daughters in North Allegheny School District. When she has some free time (and she is not at a school event or sports practice), she enjoys playing golf, hiking, camping, and traveling. She is the proud mom of a great rescue dog and support Animal Friends in the North Hills.
