Working with Dawn Hadley @ Engel & Volkers while selling my mother’s house after her passing last Spring was one of the easiest parts of settling the estate. Dawn was patient and worked through some tough situations without breaking a sweat. Her cool, calm mindset kept anxiety low and gave confidence in the process. Her promptness, knowledge of the market, strategic mindset, kindness, positive energy made a potentially chaotic selling process as simple as possible. Dawn was immensely patient with seemingly endless questions, finding answers and dealing with selling a house in a trust with multiple siblings, with a smile on her face and a can do attitude. The amount of effort and time she put into walking our family through the process is unbelievable. From the first day that we met, months before the house was ready for sale, she spent hours walking my siblings and I through the “big picture.” From there on out, she was always available to provide us with the information that was needed, from referrals for lawyers, yard service, Title 5 inspectors to cleaners. She had a vision and came through with advice, staging and attention to detail.

Not only did I feel like I had all the information I needed to make decisions, but I also felt like I was in good hands. Dawn and her team made the selling process easy and helped me understand what was happening every step of the way from thousands of miles away. As the Trustee, I live out of state and Dawn went above and beyond to go to the house and check on it while I was away. But this just speaks to her commitment to making sure we were well taken care of. Once we got into escrow, she was diligent in making sure we had all paperwork in place, communicated with the buyer’s agent, and kept us up to date and informed. Overall, I would strongly recommend Dawn Hadley to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. I would trust her attention to detail, her attitude and love of her job and level of time/dedication to her clients , all which were outstanding. I cannot say enough about my experience with Dawn. She set the highest standards, and truly practiced “service above self.” And that’s not in the job description, and it truly makes me consider her not just an agent, but a friend.

Dawn Hadley, helped sell my mother’s condo in Marshfield. Her warm, caring personality, professionalism, and deep knowledge of this market and her profession were quite comforting during a complicated process. Her referrals for companies to clean and move were great. She staged the condo beautifully and got way over asking price! It was highly evident that their Team is effective because they trusted each other and had a shared purpose: achieve the best possible outcome for all parties (while also just being super genuine and kind throughout). I think it's pretty rare to find your dream apartment in such a highly competitive market, so that is a testament to Dawn and Jacqueline. But possibly even rarer and a stronger testament: I sat on the opposite side from them at the negotiation table; it was their listing, their client's property, and their tenant-selection process.
