Dawn holds a Bachelor's degree from UCLA and a Master's in Public Administration and has a background in public relations and marketing. She continues to educate herself to make certain that she stays abreast of legal changes and current market trends. Her real estate designations and certifications include Real Estate Negotiations Expert (RENE), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), and Texas Affordable Housing Specialist. (TAHS).

Dawn is an industry leader and an involved member of the community. She is currently serving on the Ebby Halliday Realtors’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, Vice President/President-Elect of Executive Women International, Dallas Chapter, and a past president of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Chi Zeta Omega Chapter, Plano, TX. She is a Meals on Wheels volunteer and volunteers with Team Quest Track Club in Allen, TX. Dawn believes in giving back through local organizations, including Pearls of Service, Inc., which raises money for scholarships. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and exercising. A graduate of UCLA (Go Bruins), Dawn covets her role as a proud University of Miami Mom. She and her family reside in Murphy, TX.
