Embarking on the journey to own a business was not initially in her plans when she pursued a real estate license after two decades of dedicated service at Southern Foods in Greensboro. A single mom with a 12- and 15-year-old, she took a leap of faith and prayed about her decision to attend real estate school. Passing the test opened unexpected doors when a local woman owning a property management company approached her to consider purchasing the business.
With a deep conviction that it was part of God's plan, she embraced the opportunity and founded A New Dawn Realty. Her love for people and helping them navigate significant life decisions, especially in choosing where to live, drives her passion for real estate. It's not just about homes and land; it's about impacting people's lives positively.
Family holds a special place in her heart, and she cherishes her role as a mother and grandmother. Her son, Phillip, is her business partner, while her daughter, Heather, pursues a career in nursing. Grateful for her close-knit family, she lives on a mini-farm with various animals and finds joy in outdoor activities.
