Hi! My name is Deanna and I share the house that I bought in July of 2021 with my cat, Mimi, who I brought back with me to Oregon from Alaska in 2006. College is what initially brought me to Oregon in 1997 and I earned a B.S. degree; I also have an M.Ed. Over the years I moved out of state a few times, but kept coming back. There is no other state I have lived in or visited that I want to call home.
I am good at making people feel welcome and included. Building rapport comes easily to me, so naturally my clients also become friends. I love to read non-fiction, travel - internationally and domestically, volunteer, work on projects at my house, and do things outside - whether kayaking, hiking, backpacking, or snowshoeing. Giving back to others is important to me as well and I volunteer weekly - both with the organizations I am on the board of, but also with organizations whose missions I support and want to see succeed. I am also an ethical, liberation-for-all vegan and have been involved in the local community since 2007.
I obtained my real estate license in 2015 and have been a full time real estate broker since June of that year. I have dozens of closed transactions under my belt representing condos, land, and detached homes. From each transaction I have learned something, and continue to be stimulated with the complexities and surprises when dealing with real estate. Whether clients are selling property or are on the hunt to find real estate to purchase, I provide an experience that is as smooth as possible, while offering guidance on each step along the way. My background in education, counseling, and the non-profit sectors enable me to provide an experience with active listening, solution focused philosophy, and direct communication at the forefront of all interactions. I treat each client like they are my only client, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
