Deb Marzano was born in Genova, Italy and immigrated to Washington, DC at three months old. She grew up in the restaurant business, literally residing her first years of life on top of her parents’ restaurant, Luigi’s, which was the longest standing Italian restaurant in DC for 70 years.
From a very young age, Deborah’s parents taught her how to cater to the client and extend excellent customer care, always abiding by her father’s words of wisdom “the customer is always right”. She continues to stay connected to her longtime customers through her husband and daughter's restaurant, Osteria Marzano. Deborah is an expert at merging her passion in business transactions with her love for hospitality and customer service.
After 30 years of award-winning success in restaurants, Deb decided to take her business focus to the world of Real Estate and joined Compass in 2019.After building a solid foundation in real estate, she was still seeking the more personal customer interactions she had found in the restaurant business. Deborah is now blending her passions by joining Compass to work with commercial and residential clients.
In her free time, Deb is, of course, a self-proclaimed “Foodie”, spending time with her family at their restaurant, looks for ways to stay Zen and brushes up on her multi-lingual skills in Spanish, Italian, and French.
