Debbi was a founding member of the Friends of Montrose Park, twice chaired the Bark Ball for the Washington Humane Society, was chair of the Children's Hospital Young Perspective Council, has been involved with the Georgetown House Tour for many years, is currently a volunteer with Pets of Wheels, and has worked with other community, small business, and animal welfare organizations in the DC area.
Debbi has two grown children who were born and raised in DC. She lived in Georgetown for over eight years, the Kent/Palisades neighborhood of Northwest, DC, for more than 25 years, and recently moved to Park Potomac and feels like she is on perpetual vacation.
Each morning Debbi and her rescue dog, Archie, can be seen walking/hiking in the neighborhood. She plays Pickleball regularly, practices yoga sporadically, and loves to cook and travel.
