Debbie Burks

As a lifelong resident with a heart for Birmingham, Debbie Burks feels a deep connection to the area and is compelled to give back to the community she has always called home. Upon meeting Debbie, her warmth and eagerness to listen to her clients’ needs and concerns makes them feel as though they are in excellent hands almost immediately. After 30 years serving others in real estate, Debbie’s dedication to empathetic service has led her to become a well-respected fixture in the community. When asked her favorite part about what she does, Debbie responds with a sweet story.

“Service was ingrained into me at a very early age by my grandfather. This man spent all day Sunday going from house to house visiting the sick. He took care of me and other kids in the neighborhood whose parents had to be at work by 6am during the week so none of us had to be home alone. My grandfather encouraged me to support others through their challenges and taught me that it was everyone’s responsibility to contribute to the strength and integrity of our community.

I believe this is why I so much enjoy helping others accomplish their goals of home ownership and real estate investing. There are a lot of obstacles and challenges that can precede purchasing a home and I feel honored to be of service in helping someone see the light at the end of what might have been a difficult tunnel to make their dream come true.”
