Personal Background

Debby is married and has four children with whom she keeps very active with in all their sporting and extra curricular activities. She is an avid volunteer in the community. Some of the organizations she supports include the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, coaching Girls on the Run, St Stephens Optimist, PTO at Arndt Middle School, St Stephens High School Athletics, Samaritans Purse-Operation Christmas Child, Angel Tree, Marine Corps Toys for Tots, Salvation Army Bell Ringer, and coaching for the YMCA. Debby has also chaired many fundraisers like the Janie Martin Tournament. Debby is an accomplished marathon runner and continues to run for pleasure. She has lived in this area since 1993 and calls Hickory home although her roots take her back to Maryland.

In Her Own Words... I have been a full time broker for almost 29 years and a general contractor for 28. I employ a full-time licensed assistant to help with my business, but rest assured you will always deal directly with me. I feel the key to selling a property is to 1. appropriately price and 2. properly position it in the marketplace. I place great emphasis on advertising on-line and in real estate magazines. On the buying side of the real estate world, I am very educated and knowledgeable of the surrounding areas and can help you find the perfect location. I work closely with mortgage lenders, insurance companies, home inspectors, appraisers, and other agencies to find your dream home and help make the experience stress-free. I do all I can to help my clients make an enjoyable transition to one of the most important moves of your life!

Finding words to express how wonderful Debby is would take me all day if not more. She made buying my home a smooth process despite the typical hiccups and obstacles. She makes you feel like she’s only working on your house buying/selling process knowing full well she is working on numerous others.

Debby is not only extremely knowledgeable in our area but also the real estate industry. Her people are very competent and I personally saw the difference between who Debby worked with vs others.
