Deborah’s earlier successes in sales and marketing-related careers at Lotus Development Corporation and Beacham Publishing, both in Washington, D.C., were the precursors of her focused dedication and transitioning to the real estate industry.

Born in Mississippi, Deborah majored in music at the University of Southern Mississippi. She and her husband Walton moved to the Sarasota area in 1994 from Washington, D.C. She is a passionate advocate for children, and enjoys yoga, cooking, playing her harpsichord or piano when gathering friends for musical soirees that often include guitarists and singers as well.

Always proud to give back to the community that she cherishes, Deborah supports Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation, All Faiths Food Bank, Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast, Forty Carrots, local arts organizations, Florida Poodle Rescue, Impact 100, and MSC Foundation, among others. She chaired the board of Key Chorale for six years and is a past board member of La Musica, and past treasurer and secretary of the Casey Key Homeowners Association.
