Debra Marshall

Debra N. Marshall is a successful License Real Estate Agent, with one of the largest and most notable Real Estate Agencies in the country, Keller Williams Realtors. Debra has developed a diverse portfolio of buyers, sellers, investors, and renters. Debra is a leader, and a forward thinker. Debra is the founder of Cosmopolitan Realty Group, LLC. where she mentors and works with a group of real estate agents across the State of New Jersey, Maryland, New York, and Georgia. Debra facilitates home buyer seminars in the community to help families realize their dream of becoming homeowners.

In her role as a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES), Debra works with families, heirs and attorneys of deceased clients to assist in the sale and transfer of real estate assets.

In addition to being a full time Real Estate Agent, Debra is a philanthropist and compassionate public servant. Debra is Founder and President of the Yvonne McCalla Foundation Incorporated (YMF Inc.), a non-profit breast cancer awareness organization. Debra was inspired by her mother’s experience both as an oncology nurse and breast cancer patient. Debra saw firsthand, the importance of educating and empowering women to take a proactive role as it pertains to their breast health.

Debra has always loved working to empower, advocate and help families to realize their dreams and optimize their potential.

Prior to a career switch to real estate, for fourteen years Debra was employed by the State of New Jersey Office of Training and Professional Development (NJOTPD) delivering competency-based training for employees of the Division of Children and Families. While employed by NJOTPD Debra was instrumental in training over 7000 social work professionals throughout the State of New Jersey.

Debra worked as a social worker consulting, supervising and training social workers throughout New York foster care system.

Debra’s career as a Social Worker has prepared her to negotiate and advocate for her Real Estate clients. Debra often says that she is a” Real Estate Agent with a Social Worker’s Heart.”

Debra is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. She is a former board member of YWCA, the oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization in the world. In addition, Debra served as a member of the board of directors of Candice’s Sickle Cell Fund Incorporated (2001-2008).

Debra currently serves as Commissioner of the Fair Rental Housing Board in the City of Elizabeth. Debra is also a Commissioner on the Union County Improvement Authority, NJ.

Debra earned a Masters of Social Work degree from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University (May 2000) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (December 1997).

Debra is happily married, and she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling the world and exploring and interacting with new cultures.
