About Debra

Debra Trevarthen has been selling real estate for more than 17 years. She became a realtor after spending many years in the culinary arts as a Corporate Event Caterer. That experience was further enhanced by her own many relocations as she crisscrossed the United States.

The many skills that she used while managing her corporate event catering business also pertained to her own relocations. Her tenacious business skills allow her to PRESENT an idea, get it ACCEPTED, and see it through COMPLETION-all while diplomatically handling many different personalities. Her time management skills allow her to stay on track and keep all parts of a sale moving forward-from escrow opening, handling inspections to recording title.

Her enthusiasm exudes when listing a home for sale. Houses are not just ordinary homes. She adds her skills as a Corporate Event Planner and highlights properties in an incredibly unique fashion, at every price point. It is not uncommon to find a personal chef in one of her homes-showcasing the kitchen to prospective buyers. Debra is involved to the end.

She and her husband Toby have three children - a special needs adult son and identical twin daughters, the need to understand regional centers, doctors, and educational boundaries has led to a specialization in helping families with special needs children to find their way. And, given her many moves, she is also certified as a Relocation Specialist to work with families moving between cities as part of their career trajectory.

Over the course of 17 years, Debra has sold hundreds of high-profile homes across the Bay Area and Napa. She and her husband recently decided to purchase a home in Napa after visiting for 20+ years. They are also partners in Kitchen Collective; Napa Valley’s first Urban Cooking Club.

She has found the critical ingredient for building the life she has always wanted - to live in Wine Country and become part of this special place.
