Dee Waddell

Dee graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. She has been a teacher for the past 13 years, serving the past five years as a special education teacher at Oconee Elementary School. Dee and her husband, Greg, who is also a realtor and broker, moved to Athens six years ago to follow their dream of retiring in the Classic City. Greg and Dee are members of Prince Avenue Baptist Church. Dee enjoys being involved in philanthropic organizations such as The Sparrow’s Nest and ESP. For the past 30 years, she has also worked alongside Greg, providing vision and interior design for buyers while flipping and developing properties in South Georgia and along the Gulf Coast. Dee’s love for people, passion for serving others, her fondness for the Athens community, and her keen sense of style and design, combined with her development experience will make her a perfect asset to the Greater Athens area real estate market!
