Let me say upfront that working with Dell has been an incomparably excellent experience for which my husband and I are entirely grateful. We cannot say enough or recommend him highly enough.

My husband originally found Dell through an online search—we chose to work with him without any personal referrals. I say that to emphasize that we didn’t have a prior connection. Dell had to earn our trust, which he did ten-fold. I can credit the fact that we navigated the daunting housing market in Northern Virginia, and found a wonderful and affordable home, entirely to Dell and his expertise. His knowledge-base, sharp negotiation skills and proactive communication style will give you a leg up against competition. Each time we needed guidance or insight, Dell provided unbiased information that proved to be accurate, without fail. Dell treated my husband and I with respect and made our priorities his own without question. The unique challenge of buying a home without being physically located in that area was easily navigated by Dell, who carefully planned house hunting agendas to maximize the time when we flew in to the area. His incredible rate of responsiveness via phone was a relief and made the distance no challenge at all. Dell is 100% the realtor to choose for military and government personal relocating to the area.

Something that stood out and that I personally loved is whenever Dell interacted with a stranger—neighbors at prospective properties, other hopeful house hunters, his peer realtors, anyone—he treated them with such a kindness and friendliness reflective of his own class and values-driven ethic. Dell’s enthusiasm and optimism are contagious and utterly genuine; they kept us focused and resilient through the ups and downs of the homebuying journey. And as if all of this wasn’t enough, post-purchase, Dell has continued to help us coordinate various contractors to fix things in the home that we anticipated it would need. This has been a lifesaver for us because it allows us access to his network of trusted businesses and helps us to accomplish things that we otherwise wouldn’t be able to prior to our relocation.

My husband and I have experience and perspective in working with other realtors, property management, etc. in the past. After working with Dell, we have quite literally found ourselves saying multiple times “I wish this person was more like Dell.” I cannot recommend him enough or capture everything he did for us in this review (did I mention his patience with our infant daughter who accompanied us to every house viewing and distracted everyone during every business call?). All I can say in the end is that Dell is the best, bottom line. You will have no regrets in working with him; on the contrary, you will walk away completely satisfied and grateful that you chose to have him on your team.

Dell has been the best realtor my husband and I have ever encountered. We are an active duty military family currently stationed in Washington state and decided to sell our home we purchased in Virginia. Dell understood our situation and we have not had to worry about ANYTHING because he was on top of everything--so much so that he sold our home the first day it was listed. Yes! That's how efficient he is! He posted coming soon notifications and held a open house so our home sold before he even posted it online. I recommend him to ANYBODY that is looking to buy or sell. He works hard and really works for his client. We made the best decision choosing him and have nothing but great things to say about our experience.

Dell was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process of us purchasing our first home in Woodbridge, VA. Dell Epps was the best agent I could wish for. As a first-time seller of a house, he patiently, promptly, and diligently answered all my questions. Dell also worked with his home improvement team who did much needed repair work to my house. And his contractor team even billed me after settlement so I would not have to pay any up-front cost. Dell was there with me every step of the way and made the process stress free. Dell is an amazing Realtor. Very responsive and always accessible. As I searched for a Realtor, he was easily the quickest to respond and even scheduled time to chat for an hour before I made any commitment. Within a day off my selection he had already scheduled time to review hundreds of homes just to get a feel of my taste.

Dell communicates very well and his years of experience in real estate helped simplify many complex procedures in the home purchasing process. His experience also aided in minimizing potential issues as he knew what should be there and when.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin!!! I spoke with variety of different realtors who showed me a variety of homes until I found Dell Epps. When making such a large decision, I wanted to work with some that I could trust. For a first-time home buyer, I was not fully aware of the entire home buying process. I had A LOT of questions. Dell was honestly the best real estate agent that I could have asked for!!! He is one of the most enthusiastic, patient and one of the kindest professionals that I have worked with. His professionalism, expertise, patience, honesty, and hard work are much respected and appreciated. Dell was there every step of the way; he always answered every call, text or email no matter what time of day or night it was. I never felt that he was just trying to sell me a house, but that he was a mentor to answer my questions and help me to make the best decision for myself.

He was always on our side working to make our home purchase as simple and successful as possible. The best part about working with Dell was that he was always more focused on answering our questions, giving us good advice, and finding homes that met our needs than he was on closing a deal. Dell Epps is by far the best Realtor in Fairfax County. We moved to the area from Austin. We began talking to many Realtors and lenders. I did my due diligence and spoke to over 7 Realtors and 9 lenders. Once I met with Dell and his team I knew I needed look no further. Working with them made what might have been a challenging experience as a first time homebuyer into an actual treat. He made the process so comfortable and took the time to find out what WE wanted in a home. Dell never pushed his own ideas and simply advised and sought our best interest. If there is any capacity I can ever use his services again, I absolutely will. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
