Denise Clancy

I began my real estate career as a part-time agent in 1991, in a suburb of New Jersey. Having several children…six to be exact, I decided to stay home but still wanted to produce an income and stay involved with my community. Real estate has given me the opportunity to do both. I have enjoyed my real estate career over the years for many reasons. It has allowed me flexibility, provided me with a lucrative income and kept me actively engaged with professionals.

In 1995, I moved to Pine Bush, NY in a very rural area. I started with an agency working as a broker’s assistant, as I was transitioning from a city to a country setting. My first showing was to go down a road and make a left at a rock and follow the horses. I thought, wow, this is going to be tough. Within no time, between the people in my community and knowledge of the area, I fell in love with the Hudson Valley and all of its beauty. In 2006 I changed my affiliation to Curasi Realty, which I am currently with today. It was the best decision of my career. The training and wealth of knowledge they have provided me were beyond expectation. I love this profession and never looked back.

As the area has grown, my real estate career has also. I have received many commendations over the years to include agent of the year in 2014, top producer in 2017 and have continued to stay in the top 10 Club with my company Emerald Award and Circle of Achievement.

I have worked with many buyers and sellers over the years actively assisting them with my expertise with the buying/selling process. My compassion, understanding the needs of my clients and negotiating skills have enabled me to enhance to the next level. Majority of my current sales are from referrals as referrals are the greatest compliment an agent can receive. Twenty Seven years of experience goes a long way! Real estate is always about the needs of our clients and putting them first.

In addition, I also facilitate the Commencement Training for Curasi Realty. This training is a requirement for all new-to-the-company sales associates for an understanding of the processes and procedures allowing them to acclimate smoothly. Mentorship is another asset for our sales agents which I participate in. This allows developmental partnership between myself and my mentee to help enhance them with their skills and knowledge of the business.

My areas of expertise are in the Orange, Ulster and Sullivan areas assisting my clients with a home purchase/sale, rentals, land and commercial properties. In addition, I can also assist sellers and buyers nationally and globally in over 70 countries because we are members of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.
