Denise is a local high school graduate who, upon graduation, enrolled in the US Army as a Military Police Of?cer and served in Panama as a Spanish interpreter for the Provost Marshall's Of?ce. During this time, she married a fellow service member, and after her service commitment was ful?lled, spent her time raising her two daughters, volunteering, and obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Certi?cation in Project Management. In her 35 years associated with the military, she has moved many times, buying, and selling several homes along the way, so she understands very well the needs, concerns, and stresses of a home buyer/seller. Volunteering in every community in which she has lived over the years has been very important to her-she likes to be involved in and give back to the places she has called home, and Olympia is no different. She has been a volunteer with the Thurston County Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children Program (CASA) since 2013 and enjoys being an advocate for children that have been placed in foster care. Denise considers these children and their families an important part of her life.
