Dennis Puckey

Dennis Puckey arrived in the Lowcountry in 1986, right out of college and obtained his real estate license in 1989. He has achieved the honor of a lifetime membership in the Million Dollar Club for his real estate sales production. Dennis is very familiar with the real estate market beginning with Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head Island to Sun City in Bluffton/Okatie. His professional involvement in real estate includes conducting seminars on the “How to’s” of buying Hilton Head Island real estate, to managing the “How to’s” of property renovation and resale. Dennis’ active involvement and communication in the community enables him to stay up to date and insightful on the local real estate market. Dennis grew up in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Business. He has two adult sons, Jackson born in 1997 and Davis born in 2000. His children graduated from Hilton Head Preparatory School in 2016 and 2018, respectively. They then moved on to college at the University of Richmond and the University of South Carolina. Dennis has chaired many events and previously sat on the Booster Club board at the school. He has chaired Hilton Head Prep's major fundraiser thirteen years in a row and served for seven years as the President of the school’s Parents' Association. He is a past member of the Hilton Head Island Rotary and has served on the local American Cancer Society board, chairing its gala several times in the past. He enjoys working with The Ret Thomas Pediatric Cancer Foundation and the Historic Mitchellville Freedom Park and eagerly helps them in any way he can. He enjoys biking, tennis and the beach. A brief stint in Vail, Colorado shortly after college graduation resulted in a love for snow skiing, so he will travel out West with his family for an occasional ski trip. Dennis is an active member of Hilton Head Island Community Church. When it comes to client relationships, Dennis is always trying to exceed expectations. Whether in his relationships with clients, family, or friends, he seeks to go the extra mile. His passion for his clients is best shown by how many of them he counts among his close friends.
