Dennis Puckey has been a trusted name in Lowcountry real estate since 1989. After arriving in the Lowcountry in 1986, fresh out of Michigan State University with a degree in Business, he quickly developed a passion for helping buyers and sellers navigate the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton real estate markets.
Throughout his career, Dennis has earned Lifetime Membership in the Million Dollar Club, recognizing his exceptional sales production and long-standing commitment to excellence. His extensive market knowledge spans from Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island to Sun City Hilton Head in Bluffton and Okatie, giving clients valuable insight into many of the area's most desirable communities.
In addition to helping clients buy and sell homes, Dennis has conducted educational seminars on purchasing Hilton Head Island real estate and has guided homeowners through successful property renovations and resales. His active involvement in the community keeps him informed about market trends, local developments, and opportunities that benefit his clients.
Dennis and his wife Lauren have three children: Jackson (born in 1997), Davis (born in 2000), and Mary Elizabeth (born in 2006). Their sons graduated from Hilton Head Preparatory School in 2016 and 2018, and their daughter graduated from Heritage Academy in 2024. Jackson attended the University of Richmond, Davis attended the University of South Carolina, and Mary Elizabeth is currently pursuing a nursing degree at the University of South Carolina Beaufort.
Giving back to the community has always been a priority for Dennis. He has chaired Hilton Head Preparatory School's signature fundraising event for thirteen consecutive years and served for seven years as President of the school's Parents' Association. He has also served on the Hilton Head Island Rotary Club, the local American Cancer Society Board of Directors, and chaired the organization's annual gala multiple times. Dennis has proudly supported the Ret Thomas Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park and continues to volunteer his time and talents whenever possible. He is also an active member of Hilton Head Island Community Church.
Outside of real estate, Dennis enjoys biking, tennis, golf, and spending time on the beach. A brief stay in Vail, Colorado, after graduating from college sparked a lifelong love of skiing, and he enjoys traveling west with his family for ski vacations whenever possible.
