Derek Mink

Derek is a lifelong resident of Alabama and his family frequently vacationed in Gulf Shores when he was a kid in the ‘70's and ‘80's. In the early 90's they were fortunate to be able to purchase a vacation home in Gulf Shores.
Derek fell in love with the area and watched it grow and change throughout the years. He started his Real Estate career with RealtySouth in Birmingham in 1997 and was able to make a lifelong dream become reality when he moved to Gulf Shores in 2010. Derek continued his Real Estate career when he moved and has had the opportunity to help several buyers and sellers since moving to the area. He also discovered there is a lot more to Baldwin County than the Gulf of Mexico and the Beautiful Beaches. His clients have bought and sold condos, homes and investment properties from Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, Foley, Magnolia Springs, all the way to Fairhope, Daphne and Spanish Fort on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay.
Derek's wife Laura is also a Realtor at Goode Realty, and they have 4 children. They enjoy spending time enjoying all that the Gulf Coast has to offer. They love the beaches, restaurants like Cobalt, Cosmos, Sea n Suds, Bahama Bobs, Desotos, and Original Oyster House. Derek also loves photography, whether it is taking sunset/sunrise photos from the Gulf State Park Pier, Wildlife on the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail or photos of real estate listings. The kids love Waterville water park, The Track, Fat Daddy's Arcade, and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo "The Little Zoo that Could"!
