I grew up immersed in design. From the moment I could hold a pencil I was sketching everything from objects to churches to the my own home. Imagination started to flourish and I stopped drawing what I saw before me and started drawing what I was dreaming, I was redrawing spaces with my own ideas and putting my own signature on everything. I had a knack for it, I took all the design and construction classes in High School and eventually went to Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA, on an athletic scholarship, and received degrees in Interior Design & Architecture. After graduating I went back to a family business, Concept II, a local boutique Kitchen & Bath Design studio where I designed professionally for 8 years and transformed many of the homes around Rochester. I originally found joy in creating something, a tailored and thoughtful design; however, it started to shift the more I was talking to clients after the job was completed. I started to see and hear clients telling me that their daily lives were improved and how together we made their house a home, and I found more satisfaction in the transformation of a home and how it dovetailed to everyday family life.
Life always has it’s turns, and I had a unique opportunity to join the world of Real Estate, and further live out the joy of enriching the daily lives of clients, and giving them the best home and environment possible. The transition was swift and smooth; I started to quickly transfer design skills and assessing the wants and needs of clients to assist them in the largest purchase of their life. A purchase where you find solitude, entertain friends and family, create memories, and even build and and raise families. It is such a rewarding and fulfilling profession to have, and I thoroughly enjoy helping clients throughout the process.
I have always been revered as a dedicated and hard working person; a perfectionist, with an extreme level of detail. Some say I care too much; well, the way I grew up that’s a good thing, because it yields the best results, and I firmly believe it is to your benefit.
