We were fortunate to have Diane as our realtor when we sold our home. In fact, she had sold us the same home exactly 20 years earlier! She is efficient, keeping track of all the details for prepping the house and selling it, as well as providing updates every couple of days. She shared with us which features Buyers find important and which they don’t, helping us prioritize the work to spruce up the house. Diane provided options at every fork in the road (in decision-making). All paperwork was handled via electronic signing and transmission, so paperwork processing was quick and easy. Now residing in Wyoming, we met Diane at the California house and were able to do a walk-through and plan for the prepping and sale of our home. That was the one and only time we had to travel to sell the house! Diane’s husband Duane, having been a contractor for years, was able to do small repairs, source materials, etc. - all the things we couldn’t do because we weren’t on-site.
In short, we are exceedingly happy with Diane’s work as our selling agent. We would recommend her to ANYONE looking to buy or sell in the San Diego area.

After interviewing with agents, we made our decision to list with Dianne Conaway and her husband Duane. They took us through the entire process, from how to get the house ready to get the best offer to the close of escrow. They were there for us the entire way, in fact they went above and beyond expectations. They made referrals of honest, hardworking contractors to do the deferred maintenance needed so the home could bring top dollar. Additionally, Duane, a retired contractor, took care of minor items and Dianne helped us find a home for a family heirloom. After the completion of the work, Dianne and Duane staged the house for photos and showing. Dianne’s evaluation and strategy was spot on, our house sold above market value. Now after the sale our bonus is our friendship with the Conaway’s. Without hesitation we can recommend Dianne and her Remax team.

Diane helped us buy our first home in 1997. 16 years later she helped us sell that home and buy a new one. She is extremely talented at helping determine exactly what we were looking for and showing us homes that met our requirements. She walked us through every step of the way with a level of professionalism rarely seen. She will be the first person I call when I am ready to leave the home we are currently in. She is also the only person I refer people to when they are looking to buy or sell a home. There are a lot of people that claim to be a Realtor, but she is the Real deal (pun intended).

Diane and Duane are the ultimate power couple. I absolutely loved working with them! I went thru two other realtors before finally getting to work with Diane. I wasted months of time that I wish I had used with Diane from the start. She knows her stuff and it absolutely shows with each house viewing we would go to. Her years of working in San Diego really shows bc she can recommend areas based on what I’m looking for in a community and a home. Each time I would see a home it was exactly what I was looking for. She is super prompt at responding and anytime you can’t reach her she always called me back as soon as she could or would send me a text. Her husband Duane is a contractor and he knows his stuff. Anytime I walk thru a home they are always there together with you. Duane can easily point out areas in the home that are gonna be issues in the future and give you estimates on costs to fix any issues he finds. Which is nice to know bc when you buy a home you don’t wanna be surprised by anything you find down the road and they help eliminate the unwanted surprises. They truly made the whole process of buying a home easy and fun. I will 100% be working with these two on my next rental property/home that I purchase and you should too!

As a first time homebuyer, Diane was able to guide me through the entire process with ease. It felt like she was available 24/7 for any random questions or concerns we would have throughout the process, and she was able to provide helpful insight on what homes to look at after explaining what type of house we wanted.

When it came time to visit houses, her husband would tag along and share his more nitty gritty knowledge about home appliances or general contracting work. There was more than one occasion where I would point at a random pipe or knob, and he would always be able to explain what it was for.

I moved into my new house a few months ago, and we've been very happy with it!

Diane found are first home in Valley Center over a decade ago and when it was time to move on from that home we never considered anyone else to represent us for the sale. Diane is extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of real estate and sensitive and aware of the difficulties and emotions involved. If you are looking to sell or buy a home, not a house, look no further than Diane and Duane Conaway. In buying or selling a home it is all about service. Diane and Duane understood that we were looking for that special house and worked tirelessly to find it for us. But it doesn't end there. We have been in our home now for almost four years and I can still call for advice and even help locating and digging up a broken irrigation pipe. That is the Conaway Group. We don't call them realtors, we call them FRIEND!! You will be happy to call them friend also.
