Dillon Checkal

Dillon was born and raised as a local resident of Ocean Beach, San Diego. He stayed close to home when he chose to attend the University of San Diego. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in both Real Estate and Marketing, while also being recognized as a student-athlete as a member of the USD Baseball team. After a short stint as an intern for the Padres, Dillon turned his focus toward real estate and completed his goal of acquiring his Real Estate Broker’s License. Soon after that, he opened up his own local brokerage, and Checkal Real Estate and Development, Inc. was born.

Growing up as the son of a General Contractor (Checkal Construction), and a mother selling Residential Real Estate for 22 years of his childhood, Dillon’s mind developed around housing. After working for years on residential construction sites with his dad, he gained knowledge and understanding of what it at takes to turn a house into a home. He has taken this experience and turned it into a passion in the real estate field. Today, he wishes to help you in finding a piece of paradise in one of the most beautiful cities in America, for you and your family to call your own.
