During this time, he also attended the University of Southern Indiana and completed his B.A. in Marketing. Following his graduation, Dishon's passion for the outdoors and adventurous lifestyle led him and his wife, Joan, to Colorado.

During their time in the mountains, Dishon worked as a Manager for Vail Resorts and eventually transitioned into a career as a real estate broker. His Colorado real estate career has also involved investments in vacation rentals, property management, and flipping homes.
