D.J. took the initiative to become a licensed agent and invest in properties at the age of 19 while not only managing college but being a student-athlete. D.J. received his bachelor’s and played Division I basketball at the University of Texas at Arlington. By the time he graduated, he had already built out an extensive real estate portfolio for himself in several states — now, internationally.

He has been able to leverage his basketball career to build an impressive roster of clients across the country and create a lane for himself as a trusted real estate advisor. As a point guard, D.J. was used to handling the ball, coordinating plays, and accounting for several moving parts to make the team run smoothly — essential abilities that he now uses as an agent. His firsthand experience with real estate investments has served as a great asset when working with clients. Whether it’s evaluating a deal, negotiating in a high-stakes environment, or understanding a home’s overall construction, D.J. has done it.

Originally from Sarasota, D.J. has lived on Florida’s west coast for most of his life and always finds his way back. This is home. Along with the obvious luxuries this area brings, he enjoys his deep roots in the community even more. D.J. stays very involved with many organizations regarding local youth and the church. He also stays in touch with the countless athletes and entertainers that he met during his years on the court.
