He continues to serve at the national, state, and local levels, including service on the CFR Board of Directors and the NCR Legislative Committee, staying informed on issues that directly affect homeownership and property values.

Beyond real estate, Don has served Wilmington and New Hanover County through numerous volunteer roles, including advisory boards and more than a decade on the Ports, Waterway, & Beach Commission, as well as volunteering with Meals on Wheels. His wife, Lynn, a North Carolina State University graduate, is a commercial real estate broker, and their son, Clay—an NCSU and UNCW graduate—is a CPA specializing in bank auditing.
