There's a few times in your life you need to put your trust into someone that potentially can have a big impact on your life. Choosing a real estate agent to sell your home is one of those times. For me, I did not know how important this decision was until I had the pleasure of partnering with Donna to sell my home. From the beginning, she was extremely knowledgeable, Professional, Caring, and Patient. She stayed hours with me during an initial visit to my home to go over this process, explaining the best way to chose a listing price, and everything I needed to know to get my home sold and She had charts and details on comps.
Very communicative and was one step ahead of me the entire time. She thought of things I wasn't even aware of.
I received an incredible amount of offers, WAY above asking within the first few days of listing, which I dont think would have happened without her.

I cannot recommend Donna highly enough. She is a true expert in her field. I hired her to sell my home in downtown Nyack. From start to finish, she put in max effort. She is on top of things and her communication is great. She always had referrals as I needed. And she works with other professionals - for example, she worked with a photographer to take professional pics, including drone/aerial shots and even a floorplan sketch. The day of closing, as I was scrambling to clear out my house, she literally grabbed a broom and swept the entire house! Buying/selling a home can be super stressful, but Donna is that rare person who does her very best to make the process less so.

We had a great experience with Donna. We had high expectations and she exceeded those expectations. Our open house had about 25 set of buyers, and the 1st week we had another 20+ scheduled appointments. Overall we had 7 bids, all over our asking price.,Our neighbors said they couldn’t believe how many people came to our home. We credit Donna with all the traffic that our home had early and often. Behind the scenes Donna worked very hard to push our home and it showed. Throughout the whole process Donna was there to provide professional support, along with solutions to a few hiccups we had. Without hesitation we would recommend Donna for anyone who is interested in selling their home. Top notch!!!

Once you're wise enough to hire Donna as your realtor, she will expertly guide you through the process, find you top-notch properties that fit your bill, and put you in touch with any contractors you may need, all the way down to recommendations for mortgage assistance and legal representation. She's the veritable mayor of Rockland County with all her contacts. She's also the Santa Claus of real estate. You're always on her nice list and she'll make every closing day feel like Christmas. Donna was the most amazing real estate agent I have ever worked with (and I have worked with several). She has the most kind demeanor and was super helpful. Being new to the area, I did not know much and Donna worked to help us close on a wonderful home. Since we did not know the area, she provided us with any recommendation we asked for- contractors, painters, mortgage brokers, the works. Every person she recommended was top notch, honest, and reasonably priced. Donna was readily available whenever we reached out to her before, during, and after closing. She calmly walked us through everything and patiently answered all my questions. Donna has been in the area for decades and is well known here and well loved. Anyone I meet here raves about her. Donna was a dream to work with and is a kind soul. She is an amazing real estate agent and I highly recommend her if you are looking for a home in the area!

It was the very best decision we made when deciding to hire Donna Cox to sell our home of 33 years. From BEFORE we signed the contract, Donna’s professionalism, thoroughness, available resources, and most of all her calm demeanor were exactly what we were looking for. Leaving our home was fraught with all the challenges that we’d read about but were now living through.
The first hiccup we faced was over the issue of “staging” the house for sale. We loved our home and its décor. Why wouldn’t we? It expressed our taste and made, for us, a comfortable home that looked lived in. Donna, and the stager she worked with, patiently told us that while it was beautiful, there are some things that take buyers eyes off the real focus of their visit: buying the house. We grudgingly followed her advice and when we saw the photos that were taken, she was 100% spot on. Our décor and furniture were used, but presented in a way that would welcome anyone, not just people with our taste! The house went on the market on a Thursday, and we had a VERY generous offer on Sunday!
Our house was old. It was built in 1929 and had the challenges that go with that. Immediately, Donna put us at ease by pointing out that educating potential buyers about the charm…and quirks that go with that charm…lessens tensions on both sides. She was right! One architectural feature that we were sure would doom the sale was identified immediately and was never an issue by any of the perspective buyers.
Donna knows and uses resources that are as committed to excellence as she is. Each person, company, or service she recommended provided as clear, accurate, and thorough an assessment of the time, costs, and possible hitches they might encounter as well as impact on the cost. Everyone of them lived up to their assessment.
We had seemingly unsolvable problems such as a piece of furniture that was so large that it could not be moved down the stairs. She knew someone who could and did solve the problem!
Donna knows the exact rhythm of sale. Once we accepted an offer, we felt the stress of a time crunch. She plotted a schedule that dovetailed perfectly with the deadlines we faced. It was choreographed so well that the final clean out was as smooth a transition that we could have hoped for.
Selling your home is not easy. The emotional as well as financial experience is not overly exaggerated. From our very first meeting, Donna asked, “what can I do to lessen your anxiety? That is part of my job.”
She did!

I sold a unique home in Nyack NY. Because I was out-of-state there were challenges. Donna Cox went beyond the call at every turn. She managed to stage the house beautifully with the existing furniture; she orchestrated tremendous photos; and she was super vigilant on showings and in communication. It is terrific when someone is super professional while at the same time being delightful. to work with. Donna was an absolute pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. She is highly experienced and professional , warm, down to earth, maintains a sense of humor and was sensitive to all the ups and downs of selling our home- getting it ready to show, going through the often stressful process of showing the house right to the very end of signing the contract and saying goodbye to our home. Donna is the best, on every level. She is friendly and helpful, she really listens, and she knows the area like the back of her hand. She takes time to have thorough conversations and “get you” and your family so she can show you the best properties for you, and doesn’t waste your time or energy.

She helped us move from Manhattan to Nyack, NY last year during coronavirus. We had put our apartment in the city on the market just a couple of weeks before suddenly cover-19 was a thing, quarantine happened, and we couldn’t show our apartment in person anymore.

Donna was steadfast and there for us through so many ups and downs as we tried to sell our place during such a wild, unprecedented time and get our dream home in Peirmont/Nyack. We got really stressed under the circumstances and Donna was always kind and held space for us to let off steam.

Through team work and Donna tirelessly working her magic, we ended up in the perfect place in Nyack within a couple months, during such an impossible situation. She answered every question, gave wonderful advice, helped us reflect to make decisions, and was also just a very good friend to us and our then 3-year-old daughter.

Once we moved, she has still been an incredible resource for information and helping us get to know our new surroundings and meet wonderful new people. It’s hard to put into words how special Donna is, and how much we love her!
