I see homes with new owners around my town and I smile. They may be celebrating a happy day (my hope!) or basking in a tranquil moment or just navigating the flow of their day. It brings me joy to know as Realtor I can use my knowledge and skills to help my clients make the best real estate decisions.
I am originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. My family stressed hard work, volunteerism, and life-long learning. Those have been my guiding lights. I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in Spanish from UW-Eau Claire (Go Blugolds!). I spent 26 years in newspaper publishing before deciding to become a Realtor on the advice of one of the top agents in my town. It’s been a good move. Real estate has pushed me to learn and grow as I helped hundreds of clients achieve their real estate goals. Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group offers so much to its agents to improve and negotiate the changes of our industry. The processes we use for our buyers and sellers helped make us the #1 real estate company in Northeast Wisconsin. The agents in our Shawano office have a team mentality that we thrive as we work together, and I could not have asked for a better place to work.
Community involvement is my expression of gratitude for my clients, co-workers, and town. I truly enjoy serving as an Ambassador with the Shawano Country Chamber, a volunteer teacher with Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Northeast Region, and secretary for Friends of the Mountain-Bay State Trail.
My love for Wisconsin grew out of day trips with my Mom into southern Wisconsin, family vacations in Hayward and Door County, and summer camp experiences near Augusta and Mt. Morris. Our beautiful Wisconsin trails and waters call to me for hiking, biking, and kayaking.
I live in Shawano in a 1915 Queen Anne style home with my husband and a few crazy cats where I enjoy gardening, crocheting, and learning Spanish.
I look forward to sharing my experience and skills with you.
