I have over 30 years of Real Estate experience in The Lower Hudson Valley- Westchester, Putnam, Orange, Rockland, Bronx, and Manhattan Counties and opened my own brokerage in 1995 with diverse and demonstrated expertise in all aspects of Real Estate including sales, leasing and Real Estate Owned/Foreclosure specific work. I am a native of Ghana, West Africa and received my BA from SUNY Purchase with a background in Business Administration. I was President of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors in 2017 where I implemented new programs and activities aligned with my wide and well received theme of dit inion for the realtor community. As President, I put in place “Tea with the President” during my tenure which was well received by the membership. My accomplishments and positions include honors such as the New York State Association of Realtors Realtor of the Year (2020), Lawrence B Caldwell RPAC Award Recipient (2020), Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors Realtor of the Year (2012), the NYS Women’s Council of Realtors Member of the Year (2007), the NYS State Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors President (2003) and NYS Graduate Realtor Institute Chapter President (2003). She has served on the board for the Women’s Council of Realtors as Governor, Treasurer and President at both the local and state level. I was the 2024 Chair for the National Association of Realtors Fair Housing Policy Committee, and have been on the Diversity Committee, and on the Board of Directors as a voting member as well as a Director for NYS Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and HGAR as well as the NYS Association of Realtors Chair of Fair Housing and Cultural Diversity Committee and Realtor Political Action Committee Trustee. I am the current Parliamentarian for the Westchester Black Women’s Political Caucus (WBWPC). I have been a multi-year Director of the Hudson Gateway MLS Board of Directors and have been honored by Westchester Residential Opportunities for my tireless work in Fair Housing. I am currently a NYS certified instructor and some classes I teach but not limited to are, Agency, Source of Income, Discrimination- How it is Perceived, Disabilities & Access to Housing, Redlining, - An Historical Perspective and Access to Housing, Fair Housing, Ethics, Ethical business Practice, & Salespersons Licensing courses for several associations in New York State and surrounding states.
I teach, train, mentor, and coach several real estate agents all over the state and have been a keynote speaker for several organizations.
