Originally from Denton, Doug earned a Bachelor of Science in political science from East Carolina University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to his career in real estate, Doug worked in pricing analytics for Harris Teeter and Family Dollar. Doug has been residing in the Davidson/Lake Norman area for over 20 years and has experienced the highs and lows of the local real estate market's fluctuations. Experienced in short sales and foreclosures, Doug and his partner renovate and flip homes as a hobby, right down to designing the landscaping on the projects. When he isn't working on a renovation, Doug enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood with the couple's Boston terrier and West Highland terrier. He is also an active supporter of local cancer, heart, and LGBTQ+ organizations.
