Doug is an excellent Realtor. My Processor and I stepped into a transaction with Doug mid-way through the contract timeframe. Doug was super understanding, professional and extremely responsive. Doug Rains was a great resource and guide during the home search and buying process. He was very responsive to all of our questions and was always willing to look at as many houses as we needed. He also worked with a sense of urgency and we trusted him in the process.

In this housing market it can be an emotional roller coaster and Doug was our partner to help us find our dream home. Doug was an excellent resource when it came to extending an offer, being creative and not influencing us to go beyond our means. We did have an offer accepted and helped us in the escrow process and made it seamless as possible.

I honestly couldn’t think of going through the home buying process without Doug and wish every home buyer has a realtor as great as Doug Rains.

After my wife passed in July, I had to put my home on the market and relocate. The whole process, as one could imagine, was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. Since Doug had helped my wife and I buy our home, and his level of professionalism and responsiveness was second to none, I decided to go with him for the sale of our home. Doug made himself available for anything related to selling the home. He kept me in the loop at every step, negotiated with the buyers agent, and went above and beyond to make this process as painless as possible. If there's one agent that knows his business, inside and out, that's Doug. We had him represent us twice and would have picked him to broker the purchase of our new home had he been available to do so in Arizona. Doug is awesome!!! Doug has a long history and is well known in East County, which is why we contacted him for help selling our house. He came by the day I called and helped me with a list of things we should do in order to make our house appealing to buyers - he even provided great references to do a few projects around the house to help us get the house listed. He had our house listed quickly - made the BEST (hilarious, I might add) video and was very responsive and honest with opinions. We had a multiple offer situation and he helped navigate the right deal and we had a very quick and simple transition. Selling a house can be stressful - but Doug really made it quite painless! Don't hesitate one minute to call Doug Rains! :)

I have sold real estate in 31 states, and have gotten to know agents from all across the country, either through direct business, referrals or networking. I consider Doug Rains to be one of the top agents. What I truly appreciate about Doug is that he tackles head-on one of the top complaints customers have about many agents...responsiveness. Doug is amazing. He had sold a lot of properties in our neighborhood and when it was time to put our house up for sale I knew he was who I wanted to use. We had spoken to another realtor but Doug worked with us because my husband is a veteran. He was professional and fair during the entire process and made a stressful time alot easier to deal with, even during Covid 19. I thank my lucky stars that I was browsing for homes on a home search within Facebook and one of Doug's listings popped up. Doug is attentive, observant, honest and trustworthy, and he has a great eye for real estate. He never pushed anything on us but he did listen to our needs/wants and showed us properties we wouldn't have picked out ourselves. One of those properties ended up being our first home and we're still so in love with it. Doug helped us navigate every single up and down of the home buying process and his patience was nothing short of saint-like. I could never say enough good things about this man as he still, after we completed our purchase, helps me with any questions I have and has so many contacts! At least one for everything I decided/am still deciding needs to be done to our home, haha.
