Doug did for me what several others could not. He took on a short fuse stressful sale home with confidence and professionalism that immediately alleviated any concern on my part that it would be completed. I was deploying with the military for 14 months overseas and needed to sell my home quickly, I had a short time frame to accomplish the sale. Doug's prior military experience was instrumental in understanding the pressures and challenges with my time schedule. Doug has sold me both my homes in San Diego. The sales were 10 years apart but he always kept me updated on market conditions and listings the entire time. He made both buying experiences go smooth and stress free. He returned calls promptly and answered all my questions. The second home was a short sale and he was very helpful in working through all hurdles that we hit along the way. I cannot say enough great things about Doug. I have used him to purchase 2 condos, and have referred him to my brother and my friend, who have also purchased condos from him. He is patient and very thorough with his buyers, and has so much knowledge that he is willing to share. Doug is a true professional who knows the market well and how to satisfy your needs, negotiate the price, arrange inspections and review documents with you for closing Escrow. We moved recently from Canada to San Diego and Doug guided us from the beginning to the end of this complicated home buying process, explaining benefits of the area, commute and amenities around the prospective properties. We have known Doug for 6 or 7 years and have been through a couple of different offers and sales together, but this one was a little different for us. A career opportunity that brought us to the decision to move was fairly short fused, and so we were primarily focused on getting relocated across the county and settled into a new home and position. Doug stepped up and handled everything smoothly, professionally, and with exceptionally high standards. It was also a more complicated sale due to some additional parties involved (Relocation company, etc.) and by the fact that we were no longer in the San Diego area to help facilitate the sale. Doug's expertise was invaluable, and I believe was one of the key components that led to a quick sale (and at a price above our asking range I might add!....).
