Doug Stokes is originally from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, where he owned and operated several companies in the development, construction, management, building supplies, and investment fields. These companies operated in Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Quebec, Canada, representing more than $100 million in sales. Doug has worked with top companies in the US and Canada and as a result, has mastered the art of negotiation. Doug demonstrates his ability with an incredible work ethic through every endeavor.
Doug understands the importance of giving back to the community. He has been continually active in developing sports programs for youth, ensuring they have a place to go to develop their talents.
Doug has a passion for sports including boating, golf, scuba diving, skiing, sheet/trap shooting, and race-car driving. Before moving to Cape Coral, Doug spent many years living in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he operated his businesses and was a race car driver in Eastern Canada and the United States. In fact, Doug was the driver of the General Motors race team, AC Delco #5. He was also part of a sailboat regatta racing team in eastern Canada.
