About Dustin
I grew up in South Oklahoma City and went to Christian Heritage Academy in Del City from Pre-K through 12th grade. I then went on to Oklahoma State University, where I obtained a degree in University Studies with a focus on Athletic Training. I was fortunate enough to work with the football, softball, and wrestling teams. I also started my sales career there when I was recruited by the Southwestern Book Company in Nashville, TN. I worked for them for three summers. I also met my beautiful wife of 21 years there at OSU.
After a 10-year career in the life and health insurance industry, my mother asked me to join her in the family real estate business. Things couldn’t have happened at a better time because only a couple of years later, Patti was diagnosed with colon cancer. I was able to step in and take care of her business at the same time. After a very courageous battle, she passed in January of 2023. Since then, J. Michael and I have continued her legacy of service as we serve families with their real estate needs.
I reside in Eastern Oklahoma County, and I am active in my church and the Kiwanis Clubs of Jones and Midwest City.
One of my favorite things to do is help first-time home buyers navigate the home-buying process. I love instilling confidence and calming their fears as the process happens. I also really enjoy helping families who have older parents who need to downsize and liquidate their real estate. It is nice coming alongside them with a calming, trustworthy voice that reassures them through the difficult decisions. I believe in treating people like I would want them to treat my grandparents, parents, or loved ones. As people transition from independent to assisted living, I try to make things as smooth as possible.
In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my 2 sons, taking my wife on dates, and volunteering at my church or ion my community!
