With over 20 years of professional experience, Dwayne Carrier is one of the most highly qualified Realtors in Southern California. Carrier has significant experience in residential real estate sales, privately held condominium conversion properties, contract negotiation and is an expert in REO bank owned foreclosure properties.

Dwayne Carrier’s real estate career began in Chicago, Illinois. He specialized in luxury condominium listings. That experience translated into an executive position at the United States’ largest privately held condominium conversion company, Crescent Heights. While there, Carrier was the Finance Director at Park Place Tower and Shoreline Park overseeing all contracts and closings in a 930 unit and 500-unit complex, respectively. At one point a mass closing consisting of 200 units took place in a two-week period! Dwayne remained with Crescent Heights for 5 years in increasingly responsible roles and traveled the country teaching Finance and Contract best practices for Crescent Heights’ properties.

In the early 2000’s, Dwayne transitioned into founding a small business in one of his favorite beach towns of Saugatuck, Michigan. He opened “Vittles & Hootch”, a gourmet deli and wine store in 2003. The business was founded from the ground up with Carrier acting as, quite literally “chief cook and bottle washer”. The store gained a very loyal following for the homemade food and unique wine selection. Carrier traveled to specialty food providers and Napa Valley to procure items not found elsewhere. Today, residents and visitors still miss the best egg salad and lobster rolls west of the Atlantic!

In Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley, Dwayne re-entered the real estate industry. He was very successful in an exceptionally challenging time to sell real estate. He quickly gained the confidence of buyers and sellers by listening intently to their needs. He guided sellers carefully through the proper pricing and selling strategies in a market where there were few buyers. With his skill of gaining clients trust and confidence, he represented sales ranging from $50,000 single family homes and condos to million dollar plus luxury estates. Through his client relationships and colleagues in the industry Carrier met several asset management companies whose portfolios of bank owned properties was increasing at a frenzied pace. Asset companies had not ever had so many properties to deal with at one time and needed a trusted and reliable professional to turn to for local market expertise.
